What is International Last Mile Delivery?
It is the final delivery within Uganda for overseas e-commerce businesses selling to customers here. Basenalu receives goods at an agreed handover point in Uganda and completes the agreed deliveries to recipients. International transport and customs clearance are arranged separately.
Can I use Basenalu if my business has no presence in Uganda?
Yes, you can enquire about final delivery to your customers in Uganda without a Ugandan presence. Share your Uganda handover plans, products and customer destination areas. Where are international orders handed over?
Goods are handed over at a point agreed with Basenalu in Uganda. The location, timing and handover requirements must be confirmed before booking. If the location is still undecided, choose “Not yet agreed” in a partnership enquiry and explain your plans. Explore the Uganda handover process.
What is Domestic Last Mile Delivery?
It is delivery of customer orders from Ugandan sellers, retailers and e-commerce businesses to recipients within Uganda. Collection or handover arrangements and the delivery requirements are agreed before booking. Explore Domestic Last Mile Delivery.
Can my business arrange recurring customer deliveries?
Yes, you can discuss recurring deliveries with Basenalu. Share your products, estimated delivery volumes, collection or handover plans, destinations and preferred frequency. We’ll assess the support available and discuss routes, capacity, charges and terms. Explore business delivery arrangements.
What recipient information should I provide?
For an initial enquiry, share destination areas and general receiving requirements. Please do not submit recipient lists or precise residential addresses through the form. Discuss the recipient information needed for an agreed delivery and how to provide it with our team before booking.
What happens if the recipient cannot receive the delivery?
Discuss this with our team before booking so the handling arrangements can be agreed for your deliveries. Include any known receiving restrictions in your enquiry. Do not assume a particular retry or return arrangement is included.
Routes, Charges and Booking
Where does Basenalu deliver?
Basenalu serves Uganda, with route availability confirmed for each request. Tell us the handover or collection location and destination areas so we can assess what can be arranged.
How do I find out what delivery will cost?
Request a quote with your service, route, item description and requirements. Charges are agreed after these details are reviewed. For recurring orders, include estimated volumes and frequency.
How is delivery timing confirmed?
Expected timing is discussed after the route, goods and requirements are reviewed. Share any deadlines or receiving restrictions before booking so the team can assess them.
What items can I request delivery for?
You can enquire about customer orders, documents, correspondence, small business parcels, prepared food and cooking gas cylinder delivery. Describe the item and any handling requirements so our team can confirm whether the delivery can be arranged. Do not assume all product types or parcel sizes are accepted.
Does submitting a form confirm my booking?
No. The form starts an enquiry. Availability, charges, timing and other delivery requirements must be discussed and agreed before booking.
Other Delivery Services
Can Basenalu deliver prepared food?
Basenalu collects prepared food orders from restaurants and food businesses for delivery to homes and offices. Share the collection location, destination and handling needs so availability and charges can be confirmed.
Does Basenalu supply cooking gas?
Basenalu provides cylinder delivery from suppliers to homes and businesses. Gas supply and cylinder exchange remain with the supplier. Empty-cylinder collection for supplier exchange is subject to agreement.
Can I enquire about document or business parcel deliveries?
Yes. Choose Corporate Courier and share the collection area, destination and item requirements. For regular collections, you can also discuss a delivery partnership.
